November 5, 2014 (Alterus, CA)

We had a good travel day today, the weather was good and the drive was uneventful.  We left Bend around 10:00 a.m. and arrived at Alterus by 2:00 p.m.  We saw several herds of antelope and deer on our drive down.  I wasn't real quick with the camera, but did manage to get this picture.  The antelope are the small black dots in the background tucked up next to the hills.  It was quite a large herd.

We are retracing our route from last year, so we stayed at this same rv park last year and in the same site.

After we got set up and Rich went and fueled up the truck, we went for a walk around town....

Old Steam Locomotive in a park

The county courthouse built in 1914.  Look at that copper roof, very pretty

We saw more deer walking around town than Rich did hunting.....

After our walk, we just chilled out in the 5er the rest of the evening.  We hit the road tomorrow, destination is Bordertown, NV.
